Bio

Marcus Andersson is the Co-founder and CEO of the Future Place Leadership, a Nordic consultancy specialising in the development, innovation and marketing of places. Marcus has worked for the Baltic Development Forum, the Swedish Government, and the European Commission, with communication and management in policy areas such as cluster development, innovation, entrepreneurship, security and marketing. 

Marcus holds an MA in Political Science from Uppsala University and an MSc. in Marketing, Business and Economics from Stockholm University School of Business, and has published a range of academic papers, articles, reports and handbooks on topics such as talent attraction, business attraction, cluster development and place branding.
